Your data in Teliri
The Android app stores templates, customer notes, call history, and follow-up reminders on your device. Android permissions control access to calls, contacts, notifications, and overlays.
The account service stores your assigned phone number, business name, password hash, plan, registered device details, and authentication records. Administrators can manage access and view account and device information.
When a phone renews its license (roughly once a day while Teliri is in use), it also sends its Teliri version and daily totals for the last seven days: number of calls, missed calls, replies opened and call notes. This license-report payload contains counts only, without names, phone numbers, notes or message text. Shared workspace sync, described below, transfers more detailed records separately. You and your administrator see them in your account dashboard.
Shared company workspace
Company sync is separate from cloud backup. Depending on your company settings and role, Teliri sends customer details, notes, reminders, templates, call and message activity, and device/user attribution to the company workspace. Authorized team members can access shared records; owners and managers can view staff activity and reports. Live-call features can share current call state with the company web dashboard. Do not enter personal or sensitive information into a shared workspace unless it is needed and you are authorized to share it.
Uploaded attachments are stored on the server. Sharing an attachment creates a time-limited link; anyone who receives that link can access the file until the link expires. Configured integrations can send workspace information to external services. Firebase Cloud Messaging supports phone notifications and web-to-phone actions. APK updates may be downloaded through Cloudflare infrastructure. These providers receive the information needed to deliver those services.
If you enable automatic cloud backup, Teliri uploads business snapshots to your assigned account on our server. These include custom customer details, notes, key points, reminders, templates and settings; call/message history, attachment files and credentials are excluded. We keep seven recent snapshots per uploader per phone, up to five phone identifiers per account. Backups use HTTPS in transit and encryption at rest. This is server-side encryption: authorized server operators can recover backups. Turning backup off stops uploads but does not delete existing snapshots; contact your administrator for deletion.
Teliri Phone Helper for Chrome
The optional browser extension connects Chrome to your Teliri workspace and Android phone. On websites you enable, it detects phone numbers and automatically sends batches of those numbers to our HTTPS service to match customer records. Matching is not limited to numbers you click. It does not upload the entire page. Opening a customer card retrieves the customer context your account may access; saving a note, call outcome or callback sends that information to your workspace. Call and WhatsApp actions send the selected number and, where applicable, your message to your connected phone.
You control website access in the extension and Chrome. You may enable individual websites, optionally allow all websites, block a website, or revoke access. Enable it only on sites where you are authorized to process contact information. The extension stores connection credentials, selected phone and site preferences in your browser profile. Access tokens use session storage; refresh credentials use extension storage restricted to trusted extension contexts. A browser signing key is held in IndexedDB. These protections do not replace securing your device and browser profile.
Disconnect the extension or revoke its connection in your Teliri workspace to end its account access. Disabling a website stops processing there; it does not delete customer records already saved in the workspace. Workspace retention and deletion controls also apply to records created through the extension. We do not sell extension data or use it for advertising. Contact support@teliri.com for extension support and privacy requests.
Browser storage and retention
The web app uses HttpOnly sign-in cookies: customer sessions can last up to 30 days and administrator sessions up to eight hours. Browser local storage also remembers interface preferences, selected phones, reminder-notification state and saved administrator responses. These browser items may remain until cleared in browser settings. Do not use shared browser profiles for confidential business work.
Turning off shared call/message history starts a 30-day server recovery period before that history is purged by a scheduled job. Files attached for a single send are scheduled for removal after seven days. Template attachments remain until removed. Turning off sharing or backup does not immediately erase all existing data or backups.
Passwords are hashed. The web pages use secure session cookies for sign-in and do not include advertising or analytics scripts. Server access logs may include IP addresses and request details.
Optional note dictation opens Android’s speech provider after you choose to start it. That provider may process speech online under its own privacy policy. Teliri asks you to review the text before adding it and does not record your calls.
Opening a reply in WhatsApp or SMS passes the message to that app. Review the message and recipient before sending; those services have their own privacy practices.
For account changes or deletion requests, contact the administrator who provided your credentials. This page describes the current manually managed release.
